Book a Delhi or Chandigarh artist for a Karnal, Panipat or Kurukshetra wedding only if their work is clearly better for your face and you accept the full cost: metro rates, travel, often a hotel night, and fog risk on winter mornings. Otherwise, a strong artist based in or regularly covering the GT Road belt usually gives you the same quality, easier trials and fewer things that can go wrong.

A ₹45,000 Delhi quote with ₹8,000 travel and a hotel night for a sangeet-plus-wedding weekend can easily cross ₹70,000 before family makeup. The fog question

December and January are peak wedding months and peak fog months. On NH-44, visibility can drop to almost nothing before sunrise. If your call time is before about 7 a.m. and your artist is driving in from Delhi or Chandigarh that morning, you are relying on the weather. The fix is simple: the artist arrives the night before. When a metro artist is the right call

• You have seen their work in person and it is clearly what you want
• Your skin has a specific need, such as a very deep or very fair undertone, rosacea or acne texture, and you cannot find a local portfolio that shows it handled well
• The wedding is in the evening, so travel the same day is low-risk
• The extra total fits your budget without cutting elsewhere

When a GT Road artist is the better choice

• Pre-dawn call times in winter
• Several functions over several days, where travel multiplies
• A big family getting ready that needs a team on hand
• You want to do the trial nearby and maybe a second check before the wedding
