FAQ

Everything You Need to Know

Before you book, here are honest answers to the questions every bride asks me

Booking & Process

Booking & Process

How far in advance should I book a bridal makeup artist?

+

I recommend 2-3 months for local weddings and 3-4 months for destination events. Peak wedding season dates (October-February) fill up faster, so the earlier you reach out, the better! This also gives us time for a proper consultation and trial.

What is included in a bridal makeup trial?

+

A bridal trial is a full 2-3 hour session where I create the exact look for your wedding day. It includes skin prep, makeup application, and photos. We discuss any adjustments and you walk away with photos and confidence.

How does the booking process work?

+

Contact me for a consultation. We discuss your wedding, skin concerns, and preferences. Then we schedule a trial session 2-4 weeks before your wedding. After the trial, we confirm for the wedding day.

Can I book makeup for my entire bridal party?

+

Yes, but I work solo to maintain quality. For larger bridal parties, I recommend working with complementary artists or booking separate sessions. Contact me for details.

What is your cancellation policy?

+

Trial sessions can be rescheduled up to 2 weeks in advance. Wedding day bookings require final confirmation 1 month prior. Cancellations within 2 weeks are subject to a 50% fee.

Products & Technique

Products & Technique

What makeup brands and products do you use?

+

I use only premium brands: MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown, Huda Beauty, and select luxury lines. I choose products specifically for skin-first application and long-wear performance.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?

+

I specialize in hand-applied luxury makeup, which I find offers more control and natural results. Airbrush can look heavy on camera. My technique provides a flawless, skin-first finish without it.

What is "skin-first" bridal makeup?

+

It means I spend the first 20 minutes on your skin — not on makeup. I cleanse, hydrate, prime, and protect. Then I build makeup in thin, breathable layers that enhance your natural beauty rather than mask it. The result? You look like the best version of yourself — radiant, glowing, and nothing like you're "wearing makeup."

How long does bridal makeup last?

+

My formulations are designed to last 12+ hours. Combined with the touch-up kit provided and sweat-proof setting spray, your makeup will stay perfect through the ceremony, reception, and celebrations.

Can you work with sensitive or acne-prone skin?

+

Yes. I have experience with sensitive skin and acne. We can do a pre-wedding skin consultation to prep your skin optimally. I use products that are gentle and non-comedogenic.

Pricing

Pricing

How much does bridal makeup cost?

+

Bridal packages start at ₹25,000, which includes consultation + trial + wedding-day application + custom touch-up kit. Final pricing depends on location, number of events, and travel. I'm transparent about pricing — reach out and I'll give you an honest, no-surprises quote.

Is the bridal trial included in the package price?

+

The trial is typically ₹5,000-₹7,000 depending on complexity. Some packages include it as part of the service. Discuss this during your consultation.

Destination Weddings

Destination Weddings

Do you travel for destination weddings?

+

Yes, I travel globally for destination weddings. I've worked in Goa, Udaipur, Jaipur, Bali, Dubai, and more. Each destination has unique humidity and lighting challenges that I'm prepared for.

Are travel and accommodation included in the destination wedding package?

+

Travel and accommodation are included in the package price for destination weddings. I arrive 1-2 days before to acclimate and be fully prepared for your special day.

How does a virtual consultation work?

+

For destination weddings, we schedule a video call to discuss your vision, skin type, and wedding details. I send a skin prep guide, and we finalize the look details. Follow-up calls ensure everything is perfect.
